FAQ

Questions people ask first.

Short, direct answers. If something's missing, write to us — we add the question.

Does Botely hold my funds?
No. Botely is signal-only: it never holds, custodies, or routes user funds. You decide whether to execute each signal, with what size, and at which broker. Fees and taxes are 100% yours.
Where can I see the live track record?
On /performance. Every closed trade from the live bot in production on dYdX v4 is visible there, with the equity curve simulated on a $1000 starting capital and full per-trade detail.
Which markets and timeframes does the bot cover?
Perpetual futures on dYdX v4: ETH-USD, SOL-USD, BNB-USD. Positions are held days to weeks (not scalping). Strategies operate on multiple intraday timeframes and a 4-hour regime filter.
What's the difference between Paper, Lite and Pro?
Paper is free and shows closed trades only (track record). Lite (€19/mo) gets real-time signals with a structural 30-minute delay. Pro (€49/mo) is real-time with an HMAC-signed webhook payload and historical win rate inline.
Is the 30-minute delay on Lite real?
Yes, it's enforced server-side at signal emission, not a client-side throttle. The delay is the structural difference that justifies the Pro upgrade for users who run automation.
Is this regulated investment advice?
No. Botely distributes research material under EU MAR (Reg. 596/2014). It does not constitute personalised investment advice or an individual recommendation. You make your own decisions. Performance past is not indicative of future results.
What happens if my email is on the waitlist?
We email you exactly once: when an invite slot opens. No drip campaign, no third-party sharing. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to the email.
Can I automate execution?
Pro tier delivers signals via an HMAC-signed webhook with a stable JSON payload — you can wire it to your own execution layer. Optional managed execution via dYdX permissioned keys is on the roadmap (Step 2).
How are the strategies tested?
Each version is backtested on 6+ years of historical data across multiple market regimes. We publish robustness metrics (positive months, max drawdown, positive years per coin) at /backtest — not return-percentage numbers, which are unrealistic to extrapolate.
Who's behind Botely?
Andrea Acanfora, single-founder. Six years of work on systematic crypto trading. Based in Italy. See /about.
