Questions people ask first.
Short, direct answers. If something's missing, write to us — we add the question.
Does Botely hold my funds?
No. Botely is non-custodial. Your seed phrase never leaves your wallet (MetaMask / Rabby / hardware wallet via WalletConnect / etc.). Even on paid tiers with optional autotrade, Botely only holds a Hyperliquid **agent wallet** (a separate keypair you approve from your own wallet) that the Hyperliquid protocol limits to trading-only actions — no withdrawals, no transfers, no non-trading actions — and that Botely's server-side code further restricts to ETH-USD, SOL-USD and BNB-USD only. You can revoke the agent wallet from your wallet at any time via Hyperliquid's agent-management UI. Fees and taxes are 100% yours.
Where can I see the live track record?
On /performance. Every closed trade from the live bot in production on Hyperliquid is visible there, with the equity curve simulated on a $1000 starting capital and full per-trade detail.
Which markets and timeframes does the bot cover?
Perpetual futures on Hyperliquid: ETH-USD, SOL-USD, BNB-USD. Positions are held days to weeks (not scalping). Strategies operate on multiple intraday timeframes and a 4-hour regime filter.
What's the difference between Free, Standard, Advanced and Custom?
Free shows closed trades only (verifiable track record, no live signals). Standard (€39/mo) is real-time signals + HMAC webhook + optional non-custodial autotrade up to a $5,000 cap. Advanced (€69/mo) is the same with a $20,000 cap. Custom is a negotiated cap with dedicated onboarding and SLA — contact us. Autotrade is opt-in on every paid tier; if you prefer to execute yourself, the signals + webhook alone are enough.
How does the capital cap work?
The bot sizes positions on min(your equity, your plan cap). If your Hyperliquid account has $30,000 and your plan cap is $5,000 (Standard), the bot trades as if you had $5,000. Admins and Custom plans can lift the cap with an explicit override.
Is this regulated investment advice?
No. Botely distributes research material under EU MAR (Reg. 596/2014). It does not constitute personalised investment advice or an individual recommendation. You make your own decisions. Performance past is not indicative of future results.
What happens if my email is on the waitlist?
We email you exactly once: when an invite slot opens. No drip campaign, no third-party sharing. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to the email.
Can I automate execution?
Yes, two ways and you choose. (1) HMAC-signed webhook with a stable JSON payload — wire it to your own execution layer on any paid plan. (2) Optional non-custodial autotrade: enable it from /app/settings and the Botely bot signs orders via a Hyperliquid agent wallet you approve from your own wallet, sized on min(your equity, plan cap). Both options coexist; you can use webhook only, autotrade only, or both.
How does the autotrade actually work? What can the bot do on my Hyperliquid account?
When you opt in, the in-app wizard walks you through approving a **Botely-controlled agent wallet** via a Hyperliquid EIP-712 `approveAgent` action signed from your own wallet. By the Hyperliquid protocol's design, agent wallets have trading-only authority: the bot **cannot** withdraw funds, transfer balances or initiate any non-trading action. Botely's server-side code additionally restricts the agent to placing/cancelling orders on ETH-USD, SOL-USD and BNB-USD only. Your seed phrase never leaves your wallet — only the agent wallet's private key (kept server-side, AES-256-GCM encrypted) signs orders. The agent is revocable from your wallet at any time via Hyperliquid's agent-management UI.
Can I disable autotrade if I change my mind?
Three independent kill-switches, ordered from softest to hardest. (1) **Per-strategy toggle** in /app/settings — pauses one strategy (e.g. v6.4) without touching the other. (2) **Master switch** in /app/settings — pauses the entire bot for your account on the next tick (≤30s). (3) **Wallet-side agent revoke** via Hyperliquid's agent-management UI — takes effect from the moment your signed action is accepted by Hyperliquid; the agent no longer signs anything regardless of what Botely's server does. You can also close any open position manually from the dashboard; the bot reconciles on the next tick.
Do I have to use autotrade to use a paid plan?
No. Every paid tier (Standard / Advanced / Custom) delivers the full real-time signal stream + HMAC webhook regardless of whether you enable autotrade. If you'd rather execute the signals yourself manually or wire the webhook into your own bot/script, that's a first-class use case — autotrade is just a convenience layer on top.
How are the strategies tested?
Each version is backtested on 6+ years of historical data across multiple market regimes. We publish robustness metrics (positive months, max drawdown, positive years per coin) at /backtest — not return-percentage numbers, which are unrealistic to extrapolate.
